# **ROI Calculator:** Dropped Sessions

Dropped sessions may seem like a minor inconvenience, but across hundreds of devices and thousands of shifts, the costs add up fast. The StayLinked ROI Calculator below translates those connectivity issues into real financial impact.

## The Real Cost of Downtime

Even a few lost seconds per worker, per shift, can add up to hundreds of thousands of dollars every year. Use this quick calculator to estimate the impact of dropped sessions in your warehouse and discover the ROI of deploying StayLinked SmartTE for uninterrupted productivity.

## ROI Calculator i ✕ Methodology (customizable time loss) Enter the **Time Lost** per worker (e.g., *50 minutes/day*). We convert that to hours/day, then compute: - **Worker Cost** = lost hours/day × worker hourly cost - **IT/Supervision Overhead** = 28% of worker lost hours × IT hourly cost *(can be zero if not applicable)* Annual totals assume **260 workdays**. Currency values use a USD-based FX rate. Derived from relationships in the [StayLinked 2024 Session Persistence Report](https://www.staylinked.com/session-persistence).
