    How to Use the SmartTE Application

    In the tutorials below, we'll show you step-by-step how to set up, configure, and navigate through the Datalogic Memor 11 demo application using StayLinked SmartTE in a simulated Warehouse Management System (WMS). 

    Memor 11 Device Setup

    Step 1: Installing and Configuring the Demo​

    • Scan BARCODE 1 below.​

    Step 2: Launch SmartTE and connect to Host.

    NOTE: If you are experiencing issues with the setup you can try the following:

    • Ensure you have the latest version of 'Scan2Deploy' loaded on the device.
    • Try factory resetting the device.
       

    Green Screen Application

    Step 1: 

    • Download the Barcode Scan sheet below.
    DOWNLOAD BARCODES

    • Tap the CONNECT button

    Step 2: 

    • Each choice runs the identical WMS but with different levels of customization​
    • Choose the Green Screen demo option from the 'Select a Host' menu

    • Basic traditional Green Screen​
    • Familiar to most customers​

    Step 3: Scan the barcode or press Enter to advance the workflow.

     

     

     

    Fast Touch-Enabled Application

    Using Regex, we have defined text patterns (like a numbered list or specific words like “Exit”) that SmartTE dynamically recognizes and turns them into Tap Spots.​

    This is the fastest way to touch-enable a WMS application.

    Step 1: 

    • Download the Barcode Scan sheet below.

    • Press the appropriate key OR tap your choice on the touch screen.​
    • Scan the barcode or press Enter to advance the workflow OR tap any of the highlighted text to fill the field and advance the workflow.

     

     

     

    Redesigned Screen Application

    Fully modernize your application screens using the Designer features of SmartTE.

    Step 1: 

    • Download the Barcode Scan sheet below.

    • ​Press the appropriate key OR tap your choice on the touch screen.​
    • Tap any of the highlighted text to fill the field and advance the workflow.​
    • Scan the barcode or press Enter to advance the workflow.

     

     

     

    Scan Test Game Application

    The Scan Test Game provides an engaging and effective way to evaluate the scanning performance and ergonomic design of a mobile computer.

    Step 1: 

    • Download and print the 'Scan Test Game Barcode Sheet' below.

    Step 2: 

    • Next, choose 'Scan Test' from the RF menu of the demo application.

    Step 3: 

    • Now, scan the START barcode on the barcode sheet and, follow the onscreen instructions.  

    Step 4:

    • Done! Now you can view the results of the Scan Test Game.
